5 Boutique Hotels you need to consider staying at in Las Vegas

Las Vegas, or more commonly Vegas, is a desert city in the US State of Nevada. Now if you follow leisure news, you would know that this is the leisure capital of the world. From gambling to golfing to entertainment to even escort business, Las Vegas outranks all its peers. It is no wonder than therefore, that the city has been nicknamed 'the Sin City'.

Whether you are in Vegas for business or leisure, you will need a place to stay in. Below are a couple of boutique hotels you might find worth considering.

1. The Cromwell

This hotel sits pretty on the seedy Barbary Coast. It is a 188-room hotel that has recently undergone a US$188 million refurbishment. On its 11th floor, you get to enjoy the spectacular views of the Bellagio Fountains. Trust me; this is a place you will fall in love with the moment you step into its lobby.

2. Nobu Hotel

This boutique hotel is located in the heart of the even more impressive 4000-room Caesars Palace. It is a refurbished tower with a total of 181 rooms. It was designed by the Rockwell Group to evoke the Far East Zen. Make sure you get to dine at the 12,775-square-foot Nobu Restaurant and lounge. If you can't, their room service is equally good.

3. Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas

In another city, this would not be a boutique hotel. With a whopping 47-storey building that has 392 rooms, it would be a large hotel. But in Las Vegas, everything is grand. When at this hotel, make sure you head to its 23rd floor Mandarin Bar for a view of the Las Vegas Strip.

4. SkyLOFTS at MGM Grand

Find this boutique hotel at the 29th and 30th floors of the huge MGM Grand. There are 51 2-storey flats that feature amenities such as 24-hour butler, champagne bubble tub, shower/steam room among others. Guests are fetched from the airport by Rolls-Royce Ghost limos and taken through private entrance to their accommodations.

5. Hotel32 at Monte Carlo

A fire gutted the upper floors of Monte Carlo. Now this would seem like a disaster, but not to the Las Vegas investors. It became an opportunity to open a 50 room boutique hotel on top of Monte Carlo. The occupants of the vast 2950 rooms are excluded from the private elevator that takes guests to the 50 rooms of Hotel32.

Welcome to Las Vegas and 'all its sins'.
