Laluna Resort: The Perfect Place for Your Destination Wedding

Vibrant tropical flowers and thick green grass on a secluded beach offer the perfect setting for a wedding in Grenada. It's not just the wedding day that makes your stay at Laluna Resort a special one – it's all the extra services and conveniences the resort offers to the happy couple and all their guests.

To get the bride and groom ready for the big event, massage, manicure, and pedicures are included in the 7 Night Wedding Program for Two package.

This package also includes:

  • A wedding cake
  • The bridal bouquet and groom's boutonniere
  • The photographer's fee which (an album with 25 pictures and a CD of all the photos)
  • The minister's fee, marriage license, certificate, and ceremony
  • A gift from Laluna

The bride and groom will have the privacy newlyweds require in a cottage with a plunge pool and private deck. Don't forget the daily a-la-carte breakdast and dinner and a bottle of fine Prosecco.

A Laluna gift registry for your guests alleviates the pressures of finding gifts and transporting them to the destination. All items on the gift registry are offered by Laluna.

To get married in Grenada there are a few legal requirements:

  1. Couples must reside in Grenada for a minimum of three days
  2. Couples must have valid passports
  3. Couples must provide birth certificates for each
  4. Couples must provide a notarized lawyer's letter confirming both parties have single status
  5. Couples must bring finalized divorce papers, if applicable
  6. If previous partner is deceased, then the death certificate is required
  7. Minimum age is eighteen
  8. A deed poll certificate is needed to prove any name change

Documents must be presented to the different government ministries personally. This should take about two hours. However, if you are to be married by a Minister he will need to interview you prior to the wedding. Please note there is a dress code in the Ministerial Office. No sleeveless shirts or tank tops for men or women and no shorts for men.

In Grenada you may be married by an officer of the court, namely a Magistrate, or a Minister of Religion. The choice is entirely yours. (for Catholic wedding you should contact your local priest who would liaise with our priest in Grenada.)
