Visit the breathtaking Angel Falls in Venezuela

Angel Falls is world's highest uninterrupted waterfall, on the Gauja River located in the South East of Venezuela, Gran Sabana region of Bolívar State. The fall attracts millions of visitors annually.

The fall is named after the American Jimmy Angel who came across it in 1933 as he flew over in search of the legendary Golden City. This city is believed to be the home of an Muisca, Indian tribal chief who had accumulated a lot of gold. From 16th century many European explorers were fascinated by the story of this Indian chief who loved covering everything with gold, including his body.
