Long long ago, the Ciboney people were the ancestral owners of the Island of Antigua. They would later be followed by the Arawaks, then the Caribs and much later by the Spaniards. The Caribs referred to Antigua as 'Waladli or Wadadli'.

5. Dockyard Museum - If you want to look into ancient ship building, the seamen tales and artifacts, this is the best place to be in the Caribbean. The museum was established in 1855.
6. Fort Barrington - Due to its ideal location on major shipping routes, Antigua and Barbados was prone to foreign invasions. This is why the Spaniards, led by Admiral Barrington constructed this fort to act as vantage point to ward off invaders. It was built in 1779.
7. George Westerby Memorial - This was built in honor of the missionary works of Moravian Bishop George Wall Westerby. It was established in 1892. It is a good place to take pictures.
