Are you a photography buff who is wondering where to go in order to capture the best sights in the world? Below is a list of the places you can go that will literally blow your mind.
1. Angkor Wat, Cambodia
If there is a religious monument that you must capture on your camera, it must be Angkor Wat. These series of temples were constructed hundreds of years ago and feature the best of Khmer architecture. The backdrop of the temples is the kind of stuff postcard designers’ love.
2. The CN Tower in Toronto, Canada
If you want to capture anything in Toronto, you just need to climb the steps of the CN tower and you will have a 360 degrees view of the city. From the photographic Toronto Islands to the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport on Lake Ontario to Downtown Toronto, your view will be uninhibited.
3. Palm Deira and Burj Khalifa in Dubai
For a view of the most beautiful manmade island, you just need to head to the UAE's city of Dubai. Palm Deira Island is best captured at night. For the chance to capture the desert and the surrounding skyscrapers, climb the tallest building in the world - Burj Khalifa. The city and the island are best photographed at night.
4. The Great Barrier Reef, Western Australia
This is the world's largest living organism that is even visible from the space. The Great Barrier Reef in Australia is nature's most beautiful gift to man. It is the place where you go to snorkel not for the fun of it, but to get into one with nature. You may yet capture something that the scientists that have been snorkeling in these waters have missed.
5. Cappadocia, Turkey
If there is a place that man has showcased his genius in architecture, it is in the Turkish ancient city of Cappadocia. The pictures of this lunar-like village/city are best captured aboard a hot air balloon. The ancient Cappadocians literally carved out their city from the rocks that dot its landscape. It is the largest underground city in the world.
Of course there are hundreds of places a photography buff will find enough to interest him, but the above destinations are a good place to start.
